Industrial 240v 32amp Socket in my garage

I am looking to put a 240v 32a industrial socket in my garage to power my spotwelder from.

I have 3 spare gangs in the consumer unit.

Can I put an additional MCD in & run the wire to the industrial socket from that.

Any additional tips welcome e.g wire size, MCD rating etc

yes you can , but it would be best if the spare position is closet to the main switch, cable size depends on actual length of cable run.
