Installing 6"fan

Could someone please help me. I would like to know the best way to install a 6"fan through a tiled outer wall.
I have a dormer bedroom which i am converting to a bathroom. It is plastered on the inside i have drilled a 6" hole through the plaster board and a layer of felt, all that is remaining are the outside tiles. I would hate for them to fall off and damage slate on my roof. Will a core drill cut a neat hole through from the inside to out? What is the best sort of grill to use for outside? I cannot get to outside so a bit of trickery involved. Any help would be much appreciated.

Not possible to do what you want.

Trying to drill through tiles from the inside will just push the tiles off, so they smash to the ground below.
The only way to cut the tiles would be to remove them, cut the hole and then put the tiles back - BUT even if you do this, you won't have any way to fix the grille to the tiles.

Putting the fan in the ceiling with the outside grille in the soffit is a more likely solution.

Also rather concerning that your post implies you have cut through a piece of plasterboard and you are then outside behind the tiles?

not a roof tile.. and if it was then he'd be cutting an upward facing hole for rain to run into his bathroom...

You can - but no good here, as the tiles are on a vertical wall with no access from outside.

of course there's access from the outside, it's called a ladder or a scafolding...
the OP just doesn't want to climb up there..

yes i know the tiles are vertical doing it from the inside is not an option as coljack posted ladder scaffold tower it can not be fixed or sealed from the inside

Thanks everyone might be able to get to the soffit if i take some plasterboard off the ceiling
