Installing external lights in a new school kitchen

How would you do it personally? Run external lighting with PIR fitted

I ask as i now know how they've been run at the school I work in (not by me) they have RCD protection as it's a new build & Dis board.

Probably in Pyro or similar around the outside if access is a broblem internally.

It's just about impossible to give you an accurate answer when you have omitted detail such as the construction of the building, the required installation technique, how many lights, how many PIRs, what type of lights, are the PIRs stand alone or part of the lights...

Know what I mean?

I would have thought that RCD protection could be avoided....
 
If your going to run surface then no real need to RCD the circuit.

Loads of way to run it Pyro. Galv conduit, SWA or even Hi-Tuf

Also rather than PIR perhaps a twilight switch?
