Is it cheaper to insure a panel van for work or an MPV converted to use for work??
I have been using a Berlingo MPV (not a van) and I seem to have heard that its cheaper insurance then a panel van??

Cheers

It maybe OK on price, but, what if you have to make a claim on your insurance, and, say, it is decided that your sort of business use is not covered...

The insurance companies do get where they are by giving money away without having to.

Its to reduce prices, all my customers want is cheap work done to the highest standards! Gotta trim the fat some where!

Well Mike, being SE myself I can see what you are saying, but how much are you saving?, £100?, £200? spread over 50 weeks thats £4, per week (a 'happy' meal !), so £0.10 per hour. (overly simplistic sums I know, like me maybe you work 50 or more?)

Don't be in a race to the bottom. Sell yourself and and your skills, not a price.

Just a thought, and who knows who is reading this, all those luvverly potential customers who do actually value an end result more than just a price, they are out there, let them seek you out.

Best of british to you, squire.
