Intermittent "Mains power off" alert following power surge

Hi.

Texecom support have confirmed a new PSU = a new panel, so for the time being I've turned off the monitoring for AC Power Failure and the panel is quite happy now. I'll keep an eye out for a decent deal on another panel, but from reading the above it sounds like I should be looking for a panel that was manufactured in the last year or two, as those PSUs are more reliable. Sound about right?
