You have forgotten to mention the Islamic Republic of Iran is the worlds leading state sponsor of terror.May I be allowed to dispel one frequently expressed myth, that of Iran wanting the destruction of Israel.
Yes, it is perfectly true that Iran refuses to recognise the legitimacy of Israel. Just like Israel (along with USA and most other western countries) refuses to recognise the existence of Palestine. But that does not mean that Iran wants the destruction of Israel. It just refuses to recognise the legitimacy of the existence of Israel, and for good reason.
The UN Resolution in 1948 never allowed for the unilateral declaration of a Jewish, nor Palestinian state.
For Israel to unilaterally declare the independence and separation from Palestine was over and above the UN Resolution.
Iran, in refusing to recognise the legitimacy of the existence of Israel has allowed Israel to promote the misunderstanding of their policy.
There are other 'states' in the world that are not recognised as legitimate by other countries, e.g. Taiwan not recognised by China, North Korea and South Korea are not universally recognised states. There are many others, e.g. Cyprus is not universally recognised as two separate states.
So for Israel to misconstrue Iran's policy of not recognising the legitimacy of Israel as an intent to destroy Israel, is an intentional misrepresentation of Iran's policy.
On the other hand, Israel refuses to recognise Palestine as a sovereign state, and appears committed to its destruction.
I believe the appropriate word is 'hypocrisy' on the part of Israel, accusing Iran of something that only arises from Israel's misrepresentation of their policy, when they are not only guilty of the same thing, with Palestine, but are demonstrably pursuing that goal.
Whether the bunker buster does the job or not is irrelevant.Nobody can be certain about Trump's 30,000lb bunker buster bombing until independent reporting eventually trickles out form Iran.
Why not share those motives in this topic for all to read.Whether the bunker buster does the job or not is irrelevant.
This war isn't about Irans nuclear programme, only gullible believe that.
If the real motive for attacking Iran was known, then the general public might not be supportive.
Irans terrorism extends way beyond PalestineBecause Iran finances its proxies, in support of of the subjugation of Palestinians by Israel.
If the real motive for attacking Iran was known, then the general public might not be supportive.
The same reason Iraq was attacked. Why not share those motives in this topic for all to read.
Netanyahu has made a career for the last 30 years out of claiming that Iran was on the verge producing a nuclear bomb. And the other question is, why now?
(And if your answer is that "they're weeks away from having nukes!", Israel and the US have been saying the same thing since the 90's..............)
That isn't why Iran is being targeted by Israel and America.look at Irans collaborative dealings with Al qaeda
Yes.You really believe that don't you.
Gulf war 2 was revenge for 9/11The same reason Iraq was attacked
I agree. That isn't why Iran is being targeted by Israel and America
