Is it dimmable ?

Hi all,

We've bought alight fitting for the bathroom from B&Q,which consists of 4 No. GU10 halogen bulbs.

The light switch is outside the bathroom, simple on/off switch

Question is : Can the switch be changed to a dimmer and should / will it still work ??

Yes though unless the dimmer states that no de-rating need apply then assume it does and opt for a minimum of 400W.

Is the light you bought suitable for use in a bathroom - I have been asked to fit these in bathrooms before but when looked on the box they don't say they are suitable.
