Is it possible to get a fused IP44 plug or socket?

For "fused spur" read "radial extended through a small enclosure with a 16A MCB"

Thanks gents.

All options are open as the spark hasn't been in yet to spec the job - my whole question was predicated on my mistaken assumption that 32A and 16A plugs were physically the same.

Re the welding - it's 150A at a 10% duty cycle (28A incoming), but most of the work would be at ~100A at 60% cycle, so I'll probably just hook it up to the 32A socket. Makes sense to put a separate 16A in if there is no reason not to.

Cheers

At least one of the large European manufacturers makes a modular system which allows you to create a large grid of sockets, breakers, RCDs etc, all IP rated.
