One of us has, and he has decided that he is simply not prepared to give the other one's racist views the oxygen of publicity by "debating" them...

It's nothing to do with "giving in" - I'm not in any sort of contest with SRJ-90 in the arena that he would like.

But what I do find incredible, and staggeringly impossible to understand, is why he keeps on. Despite being told over, and over, and over again that I am not going to respond to his tired old "he won't" challenges, and that my refusal to play his game doesn't mean he's won anything, or that I've decided he's right, he just keeps doing it.

Does he really think that people reading his repetitive posts are going to think "ooh - he must have a point there"?

Is he fooling anybody but himself?

I'm a bit nervous about posting this, as I fear Joe may go blind if the thread that he started about himself goes to a fifth page, but would like to know how he feels this voyage of self-discovery is going.

From a quick read-through, the best case scenario seems to be that Joe's intelligent style puts him on a par with our characters such as Moz, Slogger and BOB DOLE. How does that sit with how he sees himself ?

I still think that you're a good (albeit misguided) thing, Joe, but it would be better if you changed the record once in a while. In fact, just changing it once would be good.
