It was a daft question.
That's like saying, if the poor little soul was abandoned in the harsh Canadian blizzard, would he be better off being brought up by the wolves and squirrels.

I can imagine an adopted kid by a gay couple being asked by his teacher
"Thomas ...what did your mum cook for you today?"
Thomas ....Sir, he cooked pasta for me today, ......teacher and the classmates badly confused....... you mean she cooked pasta for you.........Thomas ....No sir, he cooked pasta, my Mum is a man, he has a dick!

Dont have to be gay for a man to end up doing the cooking though.
I do the cooking as I usually get home before the mrs as Im in IT which usually has a work from home element, but either way the mrs is a lawyer. Another mates mrs is a doctor. We know we are in the position where the mrs will be the breadwinner, will wear the trousers(they usually do anyway
) when one of us drops out of work or goes part time to mind the kids and pick them up from school etc, it will be the one who earns the least, even if its the man.
Just one example that the world is changing, house husbands. Will be like that Freddie Mercury video. Men in pink shirts. Gays in the army, another one which has broken through, especially in the US. Still not accepted in footy though.
With the gays getting married, Im not against it. Modern society is so secular these days, its mostly a legal contract. Gay parents is a tricky one though, in my school(14 years ago) kids would of been skinned alive if they had gay parents. But I think the kids would be better off with gay parents then stuck in some of the abusive childrens homes.
Even my attitude to gays has changed in the last ten years as it becomes more normal in the general and working world, another ten years and it wont even be taboo.

Why the continuing dig at normal marriage Joe? Coming out of the closet at last are we? You seem to be taking the stance that normal heterosexual relationships end with violence towards the offspring of such a relationship.
Put this another way gay relationships can't possibly have any offspring, such is the sterile nature of the relationship, so why should gay couples be allowed to adopt in the first place?
You will stand out from most Czechs. From what I've seen and heard, The C. R. is still a very patriachal society. The man definitely wears the trousers, is the main bread winner and rules the roost at home.
Have heard, so poss take with a pinch of salt, that in offices, a woman who is senior to men in same office will still make their tea.

I consider myself to be broad/open minded but I must admit to having reservations on permitting gay men to adopt children.
