Is this meant to be like this? Windows and doors.

Anglian acquired safestyle in 2023 if you didn't know.

That story above is why you should never go with the nationals - the big 3 or now 2 or is it 1, Anglian/safestyle and Everest, even Everest isn't the Everest everyone knew from the 80s with Ted Moult and his wrecking ball or feather, went bust and came back as Everest 2020 but even they went bust in 2024 and now acquired again by none other than Anglian

Update to say that things are still outstanding. 3 failed attempts given to them to identify and rectify issues. They quite childishly decided to renege on fixing what’s outstanding, claiming they are happy, post inspections, with the install. Note I got out into my back garden for the first time in a while after they decided that was their official stance, and I discovered more issues.
I’m just a tenant for a well known housing association and Anglian are their contractors, yet for some reason I’ve had to do all the chasing in this for more than 8 months and counting.
Photos included of the outside of my living room window which is what I noticed after they said they’d gone above and beyond to appease me and could do no more.
I’ve opened a case with the Housing Ombudsman and contacted fensa, but can you imagine the state of the parts I can’t see? The parts they didn’t forget to hide. Or of the ones on thousands of other properties they’ve installed over the last 10 years with their £21mil contract.
The people I’ve encountered in this company are pure trash and they don’t even deserve a **** drink in an apocalypse.

Don’t use this cowboy outfit, you’d have a better outcome building your own using Lego and play dough.

It's been left unsealed because they can't get their silicone nozzle in because of the quarry tiled cill, not your problem I know but as a service engineer I know exactly why it's not been sealed, maybe been better off using a 85mm stub cill and not that 150mm

They are useless, someone was supposed to be attending today and due to health issue I’ve been stressing and losing sleep for a week leading up to today because I feel unsafe with strangers in my home, and they cancelled last minute in favour of getting fensa out (which I’d already contacted and asked fensa to do) so they let me stress for a week, lose sleep, stress speed clean because no matter how tidy and clean my home is it’s never enough when people have to be in my home, and move all the things away from windows.
I’d written out a list of questions and queries which I appreciate weren’t all in his remit but I thought he’d be authorised to pass anything he can’t address to people who could. I feel like I’m being manoeuvred into backing down.

Yes but at the very least the screws should penetrate at least 40mm into concrete/brick/masonry.

You’re right that it’s not on me, they should have communicated with each other about what to do rather than just leave it like that. The housing association are ultimately responsible for their contractors and I’ve no doubt they would have instructed Anglian to cut corners, it’s just the way Anglian have acted about my raising the issues and they failing to meet reasonable adjustments by thoroughly inspecting everything to identify issues. Dishonesty throughout from all involved, it’s gross behaviour.

And just to add

and just to add that if it had just been this one thing or maybe even a handful of things and had they just been straight with me and thorough, it wouldn’t feel nearly as bad as it does. As it stands, the problems have been plenty and not all minor things either and they have done nothing but try to deflect and act as though I’m not able to find the information they’re lying about.
It’s the lack of integrity of both companies that is impacting me the most.
