Is water pipe from house to garden reel hose under Regs?

I am running a plastic water pipe from a rear tap on my house under the garden in trench to a new hose reel at the bottom of the garden. Is this covered under regs? Would I need it inspected? I live in Surrey and plan to take it down about 50cm which I hope is enough.

No, but you might want to make sure you put it deep enough to prevent freezing - which may mean following the regulation depth - 750mm IIRC
