Joking aside, we all grew up in very different times, but they do change.
When I was at school in the 70s and early 80s, people (kids AND adults too) were absolutely brutal WRT my CP. I was mercilessly bullied, physically and verbally abused. It still happens, but it's very rare now.

it don’t just stop there you have to listen to whinging neighbours
had some bloke 3 doors down a few years ago put his house in the market it did not sell
so he bangs on my door saying that my 2 wheeley bins stored in the front garden were to blame
lowering the tone of the area
ok I said and just ignored him
came around a few weeks later whinging again
Told him to go and do one
he got up set

Surely the balance is jobs available v's people willing to travel here to work. No job - no immigrant. What could be simpler/better for the UK? I'm sure there is an institution somewhere championing that very policy.
