Just realised my heating only comes on with hot water

Just had a look and noticed at the back of the boiler the CH flow is tee'd off and goes to a radiator on the opposite wall. This would mean that the pump would be after this if I was to install how I planned. Would this still work? Currently . pump is on the return and I was planning to move to flow side
