Hi .... all my worktop areas have kitchen wall units above.

I have and use a kettle regularly - but dont want the steam to spoil or peel the new kitchen units.

there seriously isn't another place i can put it......windowsill maybe just maybe but then plug wire is a bit dangling,.

can i put anything under the kitchen unit to protect from the steam?

i was thinking a glass panel perhaps?

or will it will get through to the wood......any advice appreciated....

What you describe is the normal situation in millions of homes, and isn't a problem.

If you are still concerned, don't put the kettle directly under the wall units, move it nearer to the front of the worktop.

Hi thanks for assurance
