Why not do some research and find out?
I think the clue is in the opening post, use of language - "murdered one Muslim" says it all.
No one would be surprised to see the headline "murdering terrorist jailed for life" now would they.

Because obviously his previous crimes only involved white people. Made a big mistake when he took on the special, protected ones. The ones whose crimes are ignored by the authorities - but woe betide anyone who does anything against them.
so the tax payer has to shell out for 43 years to keep this fruitcake in prison

Thomas Mair, who killed Jo Cox was given a whole life sentence.
The people Darren Osborne mowed down werent special protected ones, they were ordinary people going about their lives like everybody else.
Yes, but he murdered Cox for similar reasons. Not because she was muslim, but she supported them. Mair saw Cox as a collaborator, and maybe she was. Her aide was muslim - one of the protected untouchables. Hence the heavy sentence.
