Good evening.

I am planning to fit an extractor vent in my kitchen wall for my hob extractor to vent outside and not to re circulate around the kitchen.

I have a wall mounted gas boiler that vents out onto the same wall as the proposed extractor vent will be.

My question is are there safety regs for the minimum distance between the boiler flu and the kitchen vent.

Thanks

The boiler manufacturer can provide the details about safe distance [there are restrictions].

dimension from boiler flue to an opening depends on boiler type and Heat Input, post boiler make and model in plumbing section and someone will answer exact requirements, if extractor hole is lower than flue hole it can be a lot closer which may give more options
