do you knit?

saw an article not to long ago, about "granny squares".....looked simple enough

tried my hand at it....sucked

not my talent.....but have seen some beautiful sweaters and blankets my friends have made....ah well :)

granny squares I think is crochet tho....right?

no, I dont.

When I was younger and could have been taught, I wasnt interested as it was something that grannies did or boring people.
Men certainly didnt do it. (so my juvenile mind thought)

I have found that quite a few men do knit though and this suprised me (sexist I know but there you go)

I know that many of you men will be going oh my god... we take it all back.. Go Away Toffee!!!

but... I just wondered if its true?
are people sitting knitting openly.. is it becoming fashionable?

or will it always be a girly thing?

can any men here knit?

well, it seems rather sexist of you to open the discussion directing it at men....

although, I can't really complain since I dont (knit)
