Hi,

I have a myriad of copper pipework 54mm and down.

I wanted to put traffolyte labels on them so I know what they do before I shut half the place down!

What do the pros do when fixing rigid labels onto pipework? Is there a bracket or something that you buy?

Thanks

Or Dymo Letra Tag stick on label, but they can sometimes fall off very hot pipes.

Failing that use the BS1192 / BS1710 pipe identification labelling system

Anything like this

Normal way is to tie a numbered tag on, you can buy 1-50 or 100 etc

Then make up a chart which is fixed in a prominent place, with the valve ID, what it serves and where to find it.

clear plastic key rings, print off A4 sheet with all letters/numbers, cut to size cable tie key ring onto pipe and then laminate and place legend sheet in prominent place, good thing about key ring is label is enclosed and doesn't fade and is robust enough to still be there next year
