Not sure he understands the purpose of an mp, which is if he wins he is supposed to represent all his constituents.

Proof of the pudding is in the eating. Some well established mps are praised by the community for the work they do for their constituents, Boris and Nadine Dorris by all accounts don't fall into that category although well established.
A mate of mine took his housing problems to a labour mp just elected what a waste of space she was.
In the case with Rochdale mp who was a virtual shoe in, revealing your thoughts on Jews comes across as not being the sharpest knife in the drawer to his future constituents that your going to get a good serving mp.
In that case he was speaking to muslims and not to the wider electorate, so he was selective to his audience, at best.
I wonder who's in charge of PR in the Labour Party at the moment and who the f. is meant to be coordinating the GE campaign from grass roots level to Westminster - there doesn't seem to be a coherent strategy at all.

It does beggar belief, keeping your head down till the cats in the bag would seem the obvious route, then you can become self serving for yourself and not your constituents, as by that time the media will have moved onto their next cat to skin.
Self serving is what's been happening this last elected government. Right wing ideologies. Does anyone on this site think Liz Truss was a capable PM ?
Filly Boy would vote for anyone but Rish! so she'd get his vote every time.
The sad thing is her dad, John Truss is an emeritus professor of pure maths and a lifelong socialist.
