Labour Party Conference summary...

There was a doctor on GMB this morning arguing against the fatty jabs.

- some people have died taking it
- it doesn’t get to the cause of obesity
- back to being fat once you come off it.

My view on it:

it is very popular with the exact age group - early fifties - who are at that point where they're predisposed to losing muscle. Chopping food intake is only going to make that worse. And decent muscle mass is a key indicator of longer life expectancy and better quality of life in later years.

I would not be at all surprised if there's a serious sting in the tail with this stuff, in the coming years.

Exactly!

They're meaningless soundbites without substance both sides i dont believe until i see action. No action from Labour ive seen apart from a declining economy and declining small and medium business. Who is this 'working people' they are helping?
Have you watched the last 20 years or so, or just the last 12 months ?

Do people with tourettes say Ey a lot? I might have to go the doctors....
They might have a tendency to use the same word on frequent and unsuitable occasions.

Don't keep using that word at the doctors. I think you'll get away with it on here. :giggle:
