Hello!

I have an extension out the back on an pitched roof thats not overly steep and easy to get onto. Approximately 7 foot above that is he main house roof which is covered in moss which I intend to scrape off.

My question is, will it be ok to use some wall mounted anchor eye bolts attached to the vertical wall, strapped to the ladder.

I'm just thinking if there is a better way that I might be able to use a ladder thats mounted on the pitched extension roof and be safe.

Thanks

Not sure what you are going to be working on, any photos.
Was going to attach some eye bolts to the wall below the windows to then use to strap the bottom of the ladder too. The ladder will be at an angle obviously and not vertical up the wall. The pitch on the extension roof is about 20 degrees.

Wait for summer , moss dries, dies and gets washed into gutter , clean the gutter.
It wont - I have the same problem and it sort of goes into a dry stasis and stays attached to the tiles until it rains again. Some bits will get knocked off with summer hail ECT.

I have to add that this is very dangerous and you might fall off and die. What I have done in that situ is get some foam and attach it to a flat board then attach to that a built up angle platform with a 2x3 stopper on the back end. The foam grips the rough concrete tiles really well and does not move and the ladder will not slide off the back of the platform because of the 2x3 on the end. The best way to get the moss out of the gutter is with a DIY type wet and dry vac
