Ladders On Slopes/Ramps

Pretty I cannot defy the laws of physics here, but I thought I'd ask. I need to work on a bush(about 6-8ft), but it's against a sloped footpath so with the small stepladder I've been using it's always a bit precarious. I want to work on it higher and a lot more stable and in general have a ladder(step or not) I can use on slopes and uneven ground, but from looking around I don't think it really exists. For tricky bits I've been using a loper.

Any ladder suggestions or tips?

All you need is a bit of timber under the low side. Have a decent size piece and make sure it sits flat on your surface.

Foot the ladder. No and it won't be possible everytime I need to do it either. I'm more concerned with the step ladder tipping over and to the side rather than it slipping otherwise I'd just wedge as much weight against it

By low side do you low at bottom of the slope?

But when you see the price, you may want to stay on the ground and use a cutter on telescopic pole.

I have got one of these, sounds like you just need it on the first step ladder but it will go further like the picture
