lame excuse from the cps

This is all due to the fact that our prisons are full to bursting. I'm giving serious thought to doing a few burglaries and robbing a couple of Post Offices (on pension day) If I'm caught, the most I'll receive will be 3 months inside. At best I'll get community service.
There was an item in the local rag a few months ago about a chap who'd defrauded some people out of , something in the region of £250,000. The courts (in their infinite wisdom) saw fit to order him to pay £50,000 back in compensation. Surely this left the criminal £200,000 in pocket? The courts are a joke these days.

I would at 52 yrs be willing to go to prison for the right money.May as well as there's not a lot else about.

There was a case some years ago about a diamond theft.

His lawyer told him the offer was..... Give the stolen diamonds back and you get your sentence reduced.

He did. The plum.

Surely it would be worth another six years just knowing you will be digging up the buried diamonds when you get out.

Stupidity.

The longer this sort of leniency goes on, the more likely we are to see vigilantes on the street.

Soft on crime, soft on the causes of crime

Outrageous decision by the CPS.
