laminate flooring

hello , i am going to lay laminate in my daughters flat . she wants the flooring in living room and carry it on through to hall way. is this easy to do because i am not sure which way to lay flooring in living room so it looks right in hallway ie shortest walls left to right or running it down the longest walls cheers

Hi - assuming your living room is roughly square/oblong and your hallway is corridor-like, I would start in the hallway and lay length-ways and then feed that through to the lounge.

in many flats laminate flooring is not permitted due to noise transfer
please check with the lease holder' or tenancy
