Right now in America,if a guy was walking past me looking like him, carrying an intimidating machine gun, I would run like a Kyoti the other way, good on them brave police officers, for disarming him, carrying a weapon even if you are licensed, like that is comparable to a man popping out his dick going past a group of females!
I hope he learnt his lesson, that even if licensed, guns and automatic weapons should not be carried as if you were in Iraq.

Although Texas has some of the most liberal gun laws in The States, it could be considered that an automatic rifle and concealed hand gun is OTT for a hike with your son.

That big police officer guy who refrained or held him from back is real cool guy! top marks. His use of force and actions were just very reasonable.Not in the slightest overpowering.

I agree, the police officer was very refrained when arresting him for a legal activity.
The police officer obviously didn't think it was legal. Nor would anyone else in their right mind.

Thing is, it possibly is legal to carry an open weapon AND a hidden one with a permit.
That's the sort of laws they have over there, they are allowed to carry weapons and it is legal.
So I can understand the chaps annoyance at having his liberty and rifle removed from his when he was not committing an illegal act.
Mind you, he was a bit of a prat walking down the street with it open like that, IMO he was just testing the police to see their reaction and boy he got one.
