Roof leaks a bit worse every year, dripping from various points in the apex “hub”, and I think the previous owners had the conservatory added in 1998, so seals are probably a bit wrecked by now.

So what I’m wondering is… what am I going to have to do? In the past, I’ve found the long “spokes” which stretch from the apex of the roof down to the gutter have tended to slip out a bit, and pushing them back up in has cured the problem.

Unfortunately, now they’re all firmly up in place. Can new seals be fitted? Or am I going to have to get a new roof (if still available), which I can’t really afford, or a new conservatory, which I DEFINITELY can't afford?

I can’t even think of a way of inspecting the apex from outside, as obviously the roof wouldn’t take my weight

Thanks :D

To do it, you have to slide the roof panels out, to gain access.

Then you'll need to match the seal, or gunk up with silicone.

Thanks! Will have a look if the rain ever stops, now I know what I'm trying to do :D
