Leaking gutting

Hi folks,

Some new guttering is leaking ... see photo below.
It was put in late last year - would rather not have to have the guys who put up back.

Is this missing some sealing or bonding.

There's a good chance the rubber seals have become displaced due to the expansion and contraction of the gutters......the fault is obvious once the gutter is unclipped.
There's always silicone if it's needed!

is it the staining your referring to, if so then the problem is one of two things, either your roof covering isn't overhanging enough or the guttering doesn't have sufficient capacity for the roof. If it's just leaking joints then it's an installation problem.

As mentioned above, the staining on the fascia is due to something other than just an unclipped fitting(s).
AAMOI: you dont just re-clip a gutter fitting: you open the fitting, dry it off, replace any distorted seal (no matter how new) and re-clip to observed falls.

I think Chapper's has it right about. I am pretty sure the roof tiles are short, they aren't coming out quiet far enough over the fascia hence the staining, but the leaking guttering is fixed now at least. This year I replaced the guttering on the side of the garage, sealed the fascia at the gables of the house properly (removed wasps nests), replaced all the ridge tiles and rotten timber. The fascia staining is a problem for next year, I hope

There was a 30 foot corrugated iron roof suspended between the house and garage, that ran the length of the gable end of the house. It was leaking badly and bowed in the middle due to half rotten timber. I took it down a few days after buying the house before it killed someone. You can see where I have concreted up the holes for the bolts that held it up in the image in the first post.

It will have to replaced however in time, as some water does collect on the concrete between the two buildings.
