I resent that suggestion sir, they were all head hairs . Anyway, yes it's leaking from the top. I would undo the screw but I can't find my screwdriver in this tip of a flat . I take it that once I've undone it I can pull off the plughole, clean it all up and refix it with a bead of sealant all round?

Thanks for the career advice too chaps. I didn't think it would be a piece of cake, don't worry. Sorry to sound so ignorant, but who would employ me 'unskilled' while I learn?
