I have a couple of led lighting projects coming up and when I switch them on I want them to come on in sequence, ( ie one at a time ).

Is there a device I can buy ready made or does anyone know of any diagrams so that I can make one ?

Regards. Tecumsah

Are you wanting them to come on in sequence and stay on or do you want them to perform like 'chaser' lamps and also go off in sequence.
More info on the actual projects will go a long way to helping to get the correct replies.

Time delay relay...

You after a floor like Michael Jackson?

one at a time any specific reason
one second or one week apart
mains or 12v

you will be able to get control but it wont be cheap probably in the hundreds

Probably 12v

Maybe 0.5 second apart

Michael Jackson effect ; maybe. ; )

The reason ? I like to be different I suppose.

Don't want to spend hundreds though.

Appreciate your replies. Thanks.

delay on timers, one for each light about twenty pound each, adjustable from 0.1 second to hours, switching off power resets them back to normal

Why?
Pulse and pause will give more options.
Little more wiring obviously to get the triggers in and out.

The pulse is the duration needed to trigger the relay.
The pause is the time it takes to activate after the trigger.
As above a power recycle resets. (On/Off).

Think poor mans controller/Sequencer.
If the relays are accessible you could play some games with the relays moving the trigger wires about.
