Load bearing wall

Hi I just would like to know what type of brick this is (see picture).

I want to remove less than one metre of my kitchen wall. One half contains this black type of brick (crumbled small stones) and the other half seems to be red brick. I want the black brick/stone side removed only, just to widen the door way which is already there.

I’m worried it might be load bearing, in that case I won’t touch it.

Update:

Ok so today I had a builder come round and he said my wall is not load bearing but I’m still not so sure.

Please see pictures below I have taken from the loft. You can see the wall very slightly in the loft.

The type of brick / block wont tell you if its loadbearing or not......

Ok, thank you . That black stuff crumples so easy, can’t imagine it holding up anything.

Whats above?

Does the door have a lintel, are there ceiling joists above

It’s a bungalow and in the loft, there are many joints running across the wall however they are not attached at the point of the wall (if that makes sense).

Most likey supporting the ceiling joists, or at least giving adventitious support.
