Hi Guys, i'm currently converting my loft. Having added a floating floor, i'm now looking to remove what i believe are temporary supports for the roof.
Can anyone shed any light on the type of roof structure I have, and whether or not I can remove the supports ?
Here is a picture of he loft, and I have added an arrow to the item I want to remove. Obviously I would need to add a support at the top of joints, but apart from that it seems to be a goer.
These supports are nailed to the side of the middle beam of three which run from the gable end through to the shared wall.
Your help guys would be much appreciated.
