I can't seem to find a 'try square' over 600mm / 12 inches. Which I guess leaves me with a 'T square'.

Looking for recommendations on a good T square that is actually square, and is thick enough and strong enough to be clamped and used as a fence for my jigsaw.

Been on the B&Q website and Amazon already. Seeing nothing but complaints that all the products are not actually square.

The Stanley one is probably the front-runner, but again, lots of reviews saying it's not actually square...

And they never seem to mention in the product listings how thick these things actually are. I'd imagine a minimum of 5mm would be nice for use as a fence.

I bought a 400mms long blade try square from Charnwood tools. Otherwise the choice is a Carpenter's square (which appear to have changed name to a Framing Square).

Cutting a the corner from a new sheet ply wood will create a accurate "square"
