Having just had an old loft conversions decorated and new carpets fitted, the Mrs now wants new doors.

I suppose she is right, but where is the best place to buy new doors. Her first thought is of course B & Q but I have a!ways found them expensive.

We(she) wants oak doors .. two solid and one with a small area of glass.

We°ll be getting a joiner to fit the doors. That reminds me , what would be a decent price to fit 3 internal doors. Handles, hinges and latches only.

Does Bowden's still only sell to the trade.

Thank you

Howdens are trade only but some branches are fairly lax. Have a look at door deals they have a pretty large selection. Depending on the linings and the doors involved I would charge £60-£90 per door, maybe more for something out of the ordinary.
I am based in Oxford
