Hi, I have an LP722 programmable heating controller which is approx 15 years old. I have moved the box and now want to fit back on the wall. The instructions say it can nbe surface mounted when put flush on the wall but there's no provision for the wires as they come out of the back, am i missing something?

also, if you put the programmer onto the mounting plate prior to fitting it, you will see there is a space between the programmer and the plate underneath the connections strip. You can cut cable-sized notches out of the bottom of the enclosure (make sure they are a very close fit round the cables to prevent fingers or anything being poked in). Do not cut the top of any enclosure as you would have to seal it against dust ingress.
