LV Downlight transformer question

Can you use a 12V LV electronic downlight transformer to run a LED cluster, such as

Or do they need an inductive load to work? Thanks..

They will need a proper transformer to supply them.

They are WAY below the minimum load of any lighting Tx that I know of.


They probably need a DC supply too (but maplins website doesn't say either way)

Ahh yea of course... I will use a plug in type transformer I think with DC output.Cheers.

You will also need a limiting resistor to reduce the current and connect the unit with the correct polarity.

Wouldn't you be better off looking at the specs and FAQs on the Maplin website than asking questions here, and/or looking at the manufacturer's website and/or asking them questions?
