Can someone help me please I'm trying to make some hexagons, just slabs of wood shaped like hexagons, I have a mitre saw and wondered if there's a way of using that. Oh I need them to have 100mm sides, thanks

hexagon much much easier as its cutting corners off a square
when you say 100mm do you mean times six ??
100mm faces would give you something like 165-175mm face to parallel face

Thanks for the answer, yes 100 each side. What in trying to work out is of there's a way to make them fairly quickly using a mitre saw rather than a jigsaw for instance?

173.2mm across flats (100 / tan(30))
200mm across corners

I had to make some a few years back, made a jig on a sled and pushed them through the table saw, seemed to remember it took ages to set up the jig, but once set up they were easy and quick to do. accurate and repeatable

not sure if using sled is a safe thing to do so check with health and safety first !

Any plans for the jig?
