Hello all.

Just a general question about making a wooden frame to support upvc cladding above a garage door.

it would be to support facia 210cm long 34 tall, with a soffit of about 30cm wide.

will I be ok using 3x2" untreated wood, and fitting noggin thingys just using screws? , i'm also not sure how to fit it to the brick piers, can i just fit wood battons then attach it from there?

If anyone knows of a link that given diagrams and examples it' be grateful

thanks
