Making radiator pipe shrouds from chrome pipe

I'll see if I can get a picture at some point.

But as far as I'm aware the installer installed white coloured pipework under the floorboards which connected up to the original copper pipes and then brought this white coloured pipework up through the boards and directly into the radiator.

Plastic into the rads? Did he arrive on a horse? That's proper rough. Good quality installers will do it all in copper - slinging it in in plastic is usually the preserve of bodgers

I tested a house this week, it had small bore plastic pipe hanging all over the place to each of the rads, many horizontal sections were unsupported and draped along the floor! The wiring was installed to the same disgusting standard...
