Hi,

Please can some help.... i have an old menvier TS2400 alarm, it showed a battery fault on the keyboard, assuming the one of the batteries died and then the bell went off, waited 20 mins and for it to stop. The next day I replaced the battery in the control panel and there is a secondary battery which I replaced as well. They keyboard didnt power up. It has powered up now but only shows the Menvier Security version 4.1 and the keyboard buttons work but no change from this message. Any ideas? I have the engineer code, but as the keyboard is not responsive, I'm not sure what to do, dont want to really do.a hard reset as will need to be programmed. Thanks.

Not my area of knowledge.
However.
Try the default engineers code 1234.

Might be other common ones for that alarm if you look online

Looking online if you can't work out engineers code you can hard reset it. Instructions online

the point is the keyboard works when i press the buttons it make the press button tone sound but the screen doesn't move off from what you see. is there a shut down sequence I need to follow? Or what do I need to do to reset?

Most keypads have the following
12+
12-
Data ( data transfer )
Clock ( data receive )
If one if the data lines is missing you could get keypad screen key bleeps but no data transfer ..,
If it was me and all wires are in the network bus ..,,totall down power and re power mains first
