Miele 8422C Condenser Drier Filter Light Fault

Hi,

Could anyone assist? I have an ongoing fault on my drier where the red filter light warning comes on about 10 minutes into a drying programme. I religiously keep all the filters clean so thats not the problem. If I put it on a timed 20 warm setting it will complete the programme. Do you think it's the thermostat? Any help would be most welcomed.

I don't think it's the thermostat. I think it may be the rear ntc (temp sensor). It may need cleaning. I don't know if this model can be accessed from behind.
