My drain problem light is going on when washing cycle is finishing. It's making the grinding sound that is normal during regular cycles, but continues making this sound and will not move to next cycle. We have cleaned out the drain at bottom front of the machine and can see some gunk coming out, but the problem remains.
I normally do room-temperature washing. We have rainwater as our only water supply. (We live on an island with generator) If I do a "Sanitize" wash will that heat the water supply within the machine and dissolve the "gunk" that supposedly builds up? Are there any other suggestions for maintenance?
Our machine is just over 3 years old.
