Miele w989i door hinges

Hi,

We have recently moved house and the kitchen has built in appliances.

The washing machine door will not close without slamming it.

We were told by the previous owner that it was a problem that started when the rubber door seal was changed. The elderly lady had the machine maintained by Miele engineers.

Today I removed the door and found the hinges are very worn.

I also found some card had been used to pack out the bottom hinge!

I have looked online but cannot find these hinges on Miele or any parts stores.

They look like simple pivot hinge designs (photos attached).

Any advice on obtaining these is very welcome.

If the seal was replaced, then the machines inner door was opened. Maybe in doing this the outer door hinges were shifted to the left. Where does the striker part of this outer door hit the latch? Does it line up perfectly?

Phone up Miele as they tend to stock parts. When I ordered parts they emailed pictures for me to check over. I have found that their prices can be reasonable.

Miele have responded with the part numbers but out of stock until next week.

I have ordered them at £11.50 each.
