Every few years the government change the way they apply tax especially to vehicles.
But whoever gets the mpg the manuafactures states for the test.

Thise that have fewer MPG I guess are punished at the pumps. Some near us are now 100.9 for diesel. But why is petrol still only 96.9?

joe the euro parlament have made it so hard to run any vehcile over 3,5 tonn that we now have more vands that ever running on the roads , plus with the revenue raised on fuel they (let on) that they want us to use our cars less, talk is cheap so why no tax it

Are you sure about that, what about when the boffins said diesel did less harm & the drive was for us to go diesel, the government lowered the tax.

It hits every mum's taxi and those that go shopping because they are bored. It would also encourage people to go to work by bus (which would be subsidised). It's not big flash cars that are clogging the roads - it's you and me (and immigrants).
