Hiya,

I've got a 6 month old Milwaukee 18v circular saw that I haven't used much.
When I went to change the blade today I noticed that I can rotate the blade by hand and it makes a clunking sound.
The blade is fitted correctly and it seems to work OK still.

Does that seem right? Should I be able to rotate the blade by hand?

I've got a video of it that i will try to attach.

My dewalt rotates by hand OK , but no noise, I have seen a similar question on the DIY forums recently
A faint clicking is often heard.
Have you checked the guard , cleaned out, made sure the locking button (not sure if you have this ) I have a button if pushed down locks the blade for tightening , it is not fixed down

Thats a good call, I know the button works to stop the blade but I'll see if it will pull out and stop the noise tomorow.
I don't want to send it for repair if its just something simple!
