I'm just about to tile a wall of mosiac tiles and wondered is it best to buy a mosaic trowel or will any wall trowel be OK?

get a mosaic trowel, the small notches and small space between them will ensure you get enough adhesive on the backs without too much squeezing through the joints.
Also worth using a decent adhesive such as BAL Mosaic-fix

Just wanted to give you a tip in case you were intending to use mosaics around a shower..... and the tip is to forget it - you'll be forever cleaning and re-grouting. Otherwise, knock yourself out.
