I've thought about mounting our TV on an external dot-and-dab wall using rigifix fixings. It's a new-build house (2 years old) - I've heard there may be a waterproof plastic membrane on external walls, which I shouldn't puncture?
How would I find out about something like that, and if there is one - is it really bad to puncture it with the fixings?
