My conservatory has wall lights either side of the opening from the house, with cable behind dot n dab drywall.
I may need to raise them up a bit (to accommodate a vertical radiator one side of the opening).
They are fed from below, from socket circuit via a switched fused unit.
Can I extend the cable? If yes, how? Choc blocs?
Or should i try and run full length cables down to the fuse? I've kinda answered my own question! (But are choc blocs a respectable, legal fix?)
I feel quite able to do this work- is it notifiable. No other changes are planned. Thanks.

Edit: Soon as I submitted, several similar questions were shown at the bottom of the page! Choc blocs were seen as good by one, and bad by another poster, as was crimping! Help!
