I need to remove two of these so that I can relocate them slightly. Have removed a radiator and now need to connect to a smaller towel rail. Do I need to drain the system (combi boiler).

None of the rads have a drain cock.

What combi is it?

You can use the radiator valve to drain - find some fitting (1/2 inch or 15mm) that goes onto the valve with a piece of copper pipe on the other side, put a hose on the copper pipe and you have a drain point.
Trust you know what to do with the boiler; stop cocks etc.

You don't have to drain the system - it all depends how wet you want yourself and everything else to get ;)
