We currently have a toilet separate to the rest of the bathroom and want to knock the wall down between the toilet 'room' and bathroom to create a bigger bathroom. In this process we want to move the location of the toilet, which will move the toilet from being on the side wall to the back wall of the house. The soil pipe will therefore need to be moved round the corner, maybe 3m in total.

Can this be done outside the house?
Is it easy to DIY or is a plumber needed? I'm competent in most DIY projects and never afraid to 'have a go'! But I do have quite little experience in plumbing.

Any idea what the approx cost would be for a plumber to do it in Warwickshire?

Thanks

Can't go go through the back wall, and join into the existing soil pipe using a 'tee'?
Repositioning the entire SVP is more than a wee task.....especially if its cast iron
John :)

Yeah that's what I was thinking, sorry should have explained better.

I want to take a new pipe out back wall, around outside of house (approx 3-4m) and join into the existing pipe.

If existing stack is plastic then job is easier. Cant see why it cant be done, provided a suitable fall can be achieved. May prove beneficial to fit an access point on any bends. Downside is it'll probably look ugly.
